Pete is our mastering guru with an impressive track record behind him.

Working with many record companies such as Freestyle Records, Universal Records, BMG Music, Kudos, MTV Japan, Sony, Acid Jazz etc, Pete has mastered many hit records. Recent work also includes mastering tracks for Chris Brown (Radiohead/Beatles), Greg Hampton (Rolling Stones) and Danton Supple (Coldplay).

Using his own methods combining warm valve compression and multiple high end software plug ins, Pete achieves solid results and delights the client every time. Pete also runs his own company Top Floor Music, and partners Nationmusic by bringing his expertise to our clients.

Gareth is our head engineer and operator who excels in all platforms of DAW’s such as Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton, etc.

Working in studios in both the UK and USA, Gareth has built an impressive resume of work in many genres, taking in hard rock, pop, RnB, jazz ,soul, and music for TV/film. Gareth is a very important part of our team, all our clients warm to his very constructive and friendly methods of working.

mel gabbitas - engineer producer

Mel is the founder of Nationmusic and owner of the Sonic Virtues Studio.

After many years on the other side of the red button working as a bass player alongside platinum selling musicians, much time has been spent in some the UK's premiere studios under the direction of high profile producers. This experience had led to Mel's highly disciplined ethos, and the development of a highly attentive ear for capturing sound and detail in performance. These qualities ensure that an artist reaches their full potential, achieving a first class recorded performance when working with Nationmusic.

With releases via several worldwide labels and a leaning towards rock/acoustic/classical music, Mel has engineered and produced many recordings with local and international acts. Recording both in the studio and live on location, his experience has also expanded to include voice-over and audio work for a number of high profile corporate brands, delivering high quality audio products for training, advertising, and new media purposes.
